Center Street School Enters Bid to Sing with Foreigner [VIDEO]
The Center Street School is the first to submit into our Sing with Foreigner contest with just five days left to apply.
For those not in the know, Townsquare Media in conjunction with Foreigner is giving one school choir a chance to sing on-stage with Foreigner. Submissions must be filed by June 8, so if you know of a school choir that wants to sing at the Foreigner concert, make sure they get in their submission.
Center Street School has an inspiring tale. Recently voted to close, this will be the last time the school choir has a chance to perform together before it is split among three elementary schools in Oneonta.
The video description is:
Here is our entry! Center Street Elementary 5th and 6th grade students performing a portion of “I want to know what love is” by Foreigner. Due to budget issues, this school will be closing after this school year. The 6th grade students in the video will be graduating to middle school, but the fifth grade students will be split between 3 other elementary schools. Show them what love is! Give your support to Center Street Elementary!
Here’s how Center Street did, pretty good, eh?
