You could win a pair of recliners, groceries, dishes or other great prizes, TONIGHT at the 3rd Annual Taste of Home Cooking School, presented by Five Star Subaru, at Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta.
This Saturday the Oneonta Farmers’ Market will play host to a culinary team from the SUNY Oneonta Food Services department. Students will perform a cooking demonstration with step-by-step instructions on how to prepare a gourmet dish using locally-made farmer’s market foods.
This Saturday, July 12, 2014, the Oneonta Farmers Market will hold its annual grill day event, featuring free samples of locally-raised foods hot off the grill, great BBQ recipe ideas, a free drawing and display by Latte Lounge, balloon give-aways, and live music with Heaven’s Back Door.
This Saturday the farmers’ market in Oneonta will offer a wide selection of local fruits and vegetables, including blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, beets, bok choi, summer squash, potatoes, scallions, salad greens, garlic scapes, and more.
I think I may be in over my head. I volunteered to make the family Thanksgiving turkey this year. Why? Why did I do this? I think it was a moment of feeling all grown up and homey. Truth is, I am just plain scared of what might happen.
