Could you imagine actually getting off the couch or out of the recliner just to change the channel?  Are you a channel surfer?  Do flip through the channels every time a commercial comes on?With the passing of engineer Eugene J. Polley, inventor of the first wireless television remote, we're reminded of what a great invention the TV remote control really is.  Polley died of natural causes in Downers Grove, Illinois on May 20,  2012, he was 96.   He was working with Zenith when he came up with the Flash-Matic, the world's first wireless TV remote, in 1955.
