August 24 Tri-County Coronavirus Update Shows New Confirmed Cases

The Otsego County Department of Health is confirming 1 new coronavirus case as of Friday with one coronavirus related hospitalizations at this time. There are currently 33 people in quarantine/isolation for close contact with someone infected.

In Delaware County, Delaware County Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19, no hospitalizations and 30 people are in mandatory quarantine. That brings the total case count to 101 (number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic).

In Chenango County, the health department is reporting that there is one person hospitalized with COVID-19 with 98 people currently quarantining and since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, there have been 219 confirmed cases.

The Governor and all of our county health departments are advising diligence with handwashing, wearing masks in public, and for everyone to continue with social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.
