April 15 Update on COVID-19 Cases in Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties

COVID-19 confirmed cases are climbing in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties according to Delaware County Public Health and the New York State Department of Health's COVID-19 Tracker.

As of yesterday afternoon, Delaware County reported a total of 58 confirmed coronavirus cases. In Chenango County, cases are up to 71 and Otsego County Department of Health is reporting 47 total COVID-19 cases with one new death. That brings the Otsego County death toll to 3.

In New York State, there are currently 213,779 cases of confirmed COVID-19 with 11,571 new cases confirmed statewide yesterday.

Please note that the number of confirmed cases does not reflect the actual number of cases because of limited testing for the virus.
