Ag Plastic Recycling Opportunities In Otsego County

The Otsego County Conservation Association has announced that farmers will have two opportunities this month to drop off used agricultural film plastic. Collection dates are this Saturday at the Southern Transfer Station in Oneonta, and Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Northern Transfer Station in Cooperstown. Plastic may be dropped off from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. both days. Material must be sorted by type, and should be relatively clean and dry. The collection is free, but pre-registration is requested at 607-282-4087.
