A Special Morning At The Southside Mall

What mom doesn't love quality time with their kids?  This past Saturday, the Southside Mall treated many WSRK listeners to free breakfast at Applebees and the kids got to get their hands dirty at a free workshop.  As my kids and I ate our pancakes, we talked about school, birthday parties, and about any thing that made us giggle.  The world around us just disappeared.  That was a fun twenty minutes..hey  I'll take what I can get.  After breakfast we headed into the mall for a free workshop (set up in the former Borders store).  The Southside Mall had activity tables set up for the kids to make Mother's Day cards, paint  and decorate flower pots and then they got to plant beautiful flowers in their pots.  We wrapped up the morning by having our picture taken together before doing a little shopping.  Thank you to the Southside Mall for giving moms and their precious gifts a special time together.
