State troopers arrested 26-year-old Tyler Rose after he allegedly struck a person who has not been identified.  The victim claimed Rose was violent during three separate incidents, the most recent on June 19th, resulting in Rose being arrested, according to a state police media release.

Rose is facing multiple charges including felony criminal contempt and assault. The victim had an order of protection against Rose, which authorities accuse Rose of violating.   According to the state police, on June 19th Rose hit the victim causing an injury.

On June 18th Rose alleged threw a phone at the victim, attempted strangulation and prevented the victim from leaving a residence.  And on June 14th Rose is accused of striking the victim in the face while children were present and prevented the victim from calling 911 by keeping the victim’s cellphone.

Rose, who lives in West Winfield, was arrested by state police, arraigned in Otsego County and locked-up in the county jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
