Why is he your Cowboy Valentine?

What's Not To Love?? Just look at that face-he truly is the love of my life-never have I known a more unselfish person-always putting my needs and the needs of his family before himself-never do I not get a kiss good morning or a kiss goodnight or a kiss just because!! We have known each other for almost 40 years and been married 35 and we still love each other and believe in our marriage!! In 1995 my nieces mother was dying of cancer and asked us to take care of her 3 girls and he never batted an eyelash and said yes not ever thinking about what the burden would be on him for being the soul provider of now 6 children but just did what he had to do!! He never once complained and to this day says he would do it all over again!! He just takes life as it is-He loves me and our family so much and I love him more!! He is my best friend and soul mate and he will always be my cowboy valentine right down to his cowboy hat and boots!!

Why is he your Cowboy Valentine?

This is Connor, my 11 year old son. He will turn 12 on the 14th of June. Connor is my Cowboy Valentine.

Connor is the hardest working 11 year old I've ever met. For the past 2 years he has held a lawn care job in our neighborhood, earning his own money with hard work. He doesn't spend his money frivolously either, he helped to pay for the lawn tractor he uses for his work and bought his own wagon to help make the job easier. In today's age of electronic games and devices, you'd be hard pressed to see Connor doing much more than listening to his favorite music on his ipod if there was something physical to do. In the spring and summer he begs to mow the lawn even if it doesn't need it yet, and come the first snow fall, he can't wait to get the snowblower running!

Connor has 3 sisters and as a result, he's a sweet, caring boy who is considerate of other's feelings. He often spends time reading or playing with his sisters, they are constantly singing and dancing. Connor also likes to make me coffee and help in the kitchen. In fact, Connor, while not always loving to help, is the go to guy when things need to get done. We ask him to do a lot at home because we know he can get the job done and done right, no mater what the job is (Yes, he does laundry and dishes, too!) Connor doesn't ask for much in return, but he really loves all things country, especially music!

Connor is not the best student at school, he learns better from doing things than from classroom learning. This mom, however, couldn't be prouder if he was a straight A student! His heart is as big as they come. Until he's old enough to make some lucky lady a special valentine, I'm so happy to have him as my Special Cowboy Valentine!

Why is he your Cowboy Valentine?

Josh and I dated when we were 15. We're 27 and 26 now! Through the years we've kept in touch, and both of us have always felt there was a special connection, but the timing was never right. We both moved from the area to bigger cities, and led separate lives. I got married and had a child. I have since separated from my son's father, and Josh and I reconnected. He is such an amazing father figure to my son, since his biological father isn't really in the picture. He steps up and treats my son like he's his own blood. I can't put into words what an amazing man Josh is, and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone other than him. He is the best thing to ever happen to us, and he deserved this trip to see some of his favorite artists live. He's so caring and giving, I'd really love to be able to hand him tickets to this show, since it's not something we'd really be able to afford on our own!

Why is he your Cowboy Valentine?

My husband and I married in July of 2012. I am from Brooklyn, NY and he is from Otego. We are a hard working couple that unfortunatly, work paycheck to paycheck.

We are currently looking to purchase a house but have come into some more interesting news. My parents in Brooklyn have had to declare bankruptcy and need to figure out where they are going to go. So, my husband has agreed to look for a property where we can add on to the house so my parents can move in.

We all know that is asking a lot, who wants their in-laws living in the same house. Thank you for the opportunity to possibly surprise him with tickets for the weekend.

Why is he your Cowboy Valentine?

First there came James

Our little red head

Ready for the barn

Even before a big boy bed

Taking to the field

He's my cowboy valentine

Love in my heart

His bright eyes shine

Spitfires came next

Casey and Carter

Life on the farm

About to get harder

Taking to the field

They're my cowboy valentines

Love in my heart

Their bright eyes shine

Three loves of my life

Kicking in their boots

Racing to the cows

These are my roots

Due to some technical difficulties with the poll, we have ended the voting early. The contestants have been notified and we will announce the winners at by 8 a.m. March 1.
