The Town Of Oneonta will hold two public meetings this week to provide residents with information about an energy delivery program that may save residents money on their energy bill.  The program, Community Choice Aggregation is a new New York State program which has authorized communities to join to together to aggregate the purchase of electricity in hopes of getting better prices for the residents. The Town of Oneonta was the first community in NYS to sign an agreement to initiate the process.

The first informational meeting is Tuesday, May 2nd at the Oneonta Town Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m and the second meeting is on Thursday, May 4th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Foxcare Center on Rt. 7.  Residents are encouraged to bring their electric bill to compare pricing.
