Oneonta Little league

Eric is always a little camera shy but I actually managed to get a few shots...sort of.  Good time yesterday at Doc Knapp Field.

Later today, Eric Malonoski and myself, will be working the concession stand at Doc Knapp Field and we're bringing prizes!  WSRK alum, Brett Moore is even taking a shift.  It's WSRK night!

Oneonta Little League will be running a Summer Baseball League for kids aged 8-11.

Despite Leo "The Lip" Durocher's proclamation that "good guys finish last," we can now declare that untrue! "Good Guy" Rich Murphy, who has been involved with Oneonta's Little League for over three decades, was honored on the 2014 season opening. ...

Oneonta Little League sign ups are taking place tonight and tomorrow night. Sign ups for the 2014 season are both Tuesday and Wednesday, March 4 and 5, 2014 from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club.

This morning, Townsquare Media stations, WSRK, WZOZ, and WDOS joined forces to help raise over $10,000 in donations in just two hours time to help rebuild Doc Knapp Field.  Over the weekend, Doc Knapp Field was vandalized.  The community pulled together and raised a far greater amount than anticipated.

Oneonta Little League fall sign ups are taking place this week.  Sign ups for the 2014 season are both Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5 and 6, 2013 from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club.  Fall sign ups are a way to get a jump on the 2014 season and are optional, as there will also be spring sign ups.
