Sen. Jim Seward Secures Funds to Help Mt. Vision Fire Department Build

Sen. Jim Seward has secured a $150,000 grant to  assist the Mt. Vision Fire Department buiild a new fire station ni memory of fallen firefighter Adam Burgess.  On his Facebook page, Senator Seward reflected on this community effort:

Very emotional night at the Mount Vision Fire Department. It was my honor to present a state grant for $150,000 to help with the construction of a new fire station. The project was the dream of Adam Burgess, who lost his life tragically last year in a work related accident. Adam embodied the ideals of volunteerism and it meant so much to have his parents and fiance at tonight's announcement along with his fellow firefighters.
