Schumer Asks FDIC to Help Keep Greek Peak Open
U.S. Senator Charles Schumer is pushing for the FDIC to find a long term plan for Greek Peak resort.
Last week Greek Peak filed for bankruptcy, and Schumer said the FDIC is critical in keeping the company’s doors open until a long-term plan is found.
Schumer called on FDIC chairman Gruenberg last week to emphasize the importance of Greek Peak to Cortland County and central New York.
The senator said he will work with local leaders and Greek peak to keep the business open.
