ANTI, Rihanna's eighth studio album, has proven to be immune to doubt.

Early reports pointed to potentially disappointing sales for the album, which was first released to TIDAL on January 27 and then all digital sites on January 29. But ANTI currently stands at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Billboard reported yesterday (February 7). ANTI moved 166,000 units — 124,000 in pure sales — in its first full week, beating Kevin Gates' Islah by more than 50,000 units.

Rihanna's last album, 2012's Unapologetic, opened with 238,000 in sales. Each of her previous albums has debuted in the Top 10.

ANTI was originally offered as a free download through Samsung, which amounted to 1.47 million downloads in less than 15 hours. None of the free downloads counted towards the album's chart numbers.

Adele's unstoppable 25, which was released in November, moved 106,000 units (89,000 in pure sales) to land at No. 3. The numbers have officially pushed 25 past the eight-million mark. And just below, Sia's This Is Acting debuts at No. 4 with the Australian singer-songwriter's strongest single-week sales performance: 81,000 albums moved with 68,000 in pure sales. Sia's 1000 Forms Of Fear debuted at No. 1 in 2014, but sold about 30,000 fewer copies.

Finally, Charlie Puth's debut album, Nine Track Mind, debuts at No. 6, having moved 65,000 copies with 47,000 in pure sales.
