September 10 and 11 are now in the record books in Oneonta for something unexpected.  According to Oneonta's National Weather Observer David Mattice, from 6:30 a.m. yesterday to 6:30 a.m. this morning, Oneonta set a record for the most rainfall for that date and time period.  How much rain did we get?  It turns out that Oneonta received 2.1 inches of rain during that 24 hour time frame. The previous record was 1.6 inches set back in 1962.
