Oneonta Fabulous Friday To Kick Off July 4th Weekend

Get ready for a big July 4th weekend in Oneonta!  Friday is action packed with Destination Oneonta's Fabulous Friday event, a free celebration of arts and culture in Downtown Oneonta on the first and third Friday of each month through October.  

Main Street will be closed off at 4pm for this family, fun event.  Buffalo and Brandy, which features Oneonta's own Mary Ann Corrao Feree will have two different shows in Muller Plaza between 5:30pm and 8pm.  The first show will be interactive and geared towards kids and the second show will be more adult oriented.

Other Fabulous Friday highlights are below:

• CANO art opening featuring Charlesey L. Charlton-McCallister, Paula Friedman & Andrew Leventis from 5pm to 8pm
• Pizza judging contest starting at 5:30pm featuring pizza donated from many of our local pizza restaurants.  The winner will be announced at 6:30pm.
• The Oneonta History Center will be serving strawberry shortcake from 5pm to 8pm.
• Every First Friday through October, Oneonta World of Learning will have a FREE Open House as part of Oneonta Fabulous Friday celebrations.
• The Green Earth Food Market is hosting Salsa dancing lessons at 7pm sponsored by the Fiesta Mexican Grill.
• See a few hot air balloons in Neahwa Park
• Weather permitting, the Otsego 4-H Robotics Team will have demonstrations
