Classes at Morris Central School went on as usual Tuesday after district officials learned that a student made a threat that he would shoot students at the school. District officials say parents were notified of the threat Monday night and they sent a letter home with students to explain what happened and also addressing the manner in which the notification was sent. According to New York State Police, the 16-year-old student was not arrested but instead taken to a crisis center for a mental health evaluation.
