Last Minute New Year’s Eve Party Ideas

You woke up this morning with a crazy idea, "I want to have a New Year's eve party!"  Well, you can still pull it off without breaking the bank.  I have gathered some quick and easy party ideas for you:

1. BYOA  Make it a 'bring your own appetizer' party.  Everyone in attendance will provide the munchies and you'll be sure to have something that everyone loves.
2. Decorate on the cheap.  Christmas lights are a great way to create a party atmosphere.  Go beyond the tree hang them around entryways, roll them to make snowballs to place on tables, wrap the tables, just get creative.
3. Create photo ops.  Have a large frame (without picture) available for people to hold up for a New Year's eve photo.  You can even label or decorate the frame, maybe with Christmas lights.
4. Create wish strings.  Hang strings from the ceiling.  Provide cards, pens, and tape or clothespins for your guest.  They can write their wishes for 2013 and hang them to share.  You can also have a resolution or wish bowl.  People can draw them at random and guess who it belongs to.
