Klipnockie Entertainment is proud to present The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with special guests Just Throw Money and Horseshoe Lounge Playboys on Sunday, September 30. Proceeds will benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.
The iconic and profoundly influential Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, often cited as a catalyst for an entire movement in country rock and American roots music, continues to add to their legendary status.
With multi-‐platinum and gold records, strings of top ten hits such as “Fishin’ In The Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles”, multiple Grammy, IBMA, and CMA awards and nominations, the band’s accolades continue to accumulate.
Their Groundbreaking “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” album has been inducted into the U.S. Library Of Congress, as well as the Grammy Hall Of Fame. NGDB’s Recording of “Mr. Bojangles” was also inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame In 2010.
NGDB (Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter, and John McEuen) are touring in support of their most recent release, the critically acclaimed album “Speed Of Life” (2009, SugarHill Records) with recent tour stops at Bonnaroo And Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble.
The show is Sunday, September 30 at 7 p.m with Happy hour: 4-6 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
