This Saturday the Oneonta Farmers’ Market will host registration for Main Street Oneonta’s first ever Light up the Harvest event. Visit the MSO table at the market to register your pumpkin for the pumpkin glow to take place at 6:30 pm, when pumpkins will be lighted and the community will be invited to take an evening walk to admire the creations. This week’s vendors will offer a wide array of vegetables and late season fruits at the open air market on Main St., plus grass-fed meats and poultry, maple cream, syrup and sugar, baked goods including pies and breads, baking flour, pancake mix, prepared foods, cut flower bouquets and potted flowers and plants, aromatherapy products, handmade crafts, candles, lotions, and more. Find carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins, mini-pumpkins, acorn, carnival, butternut and other winter squash, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, beets, onions, tomatoes, greens, and a wide selection of apples. There will be live music at 11am and free samples of farmers’ market foods beginning at 10:30 am. This is the second last outdoor market of the season, before the market moves indoors to the Main Street Garage Walkway in November (two doors down from Latte Lounge).

The Oneonta Farmers’ Market accepts WIC and Senior Coupons. **Due to new IRS rules, Oneonta Farmers’ Market vendors are no longer able to accept EBT/Food Stamps. Farmers’ market tokens may still be used.

The Oneonta Farmers' Market is held every Saturday and Tuesday throughout the season from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Oneonta’s Main Street Plaza under the white canopies right in front of the Clarion Hotel. In November the market moves indoors to the garage walkway two doors down from Latte Lounge and continues throughout the winter. Rain, snow or shine!
