“Band Together” Worcester Central School

“Band Together” will showcase five local bands made up of high school musicians fromCobleskill, Cooperstown, Stamford and Worcester. Two nonprofit groups will receivethe funds raised by this event. Some of the funds will be donated to a charitycalled World Vision. Specifically, the donations will be going towards funding the drilling of a deep well in a village in Africa which has no local clean watersource. The rest of the money will go towards Worcester’s music department for new instruments, repairs, travel, etc. A chicken BBQ dinner, also sponsored by the band will start at 4:00 and end when all chicken dinners are gone. The Concert starts at 7pm with Skinny Guys with Glasses, 7 Second Static, The Mutton Chop 5, P2 and more. It’s all happening at Worcester Central School in the DuBois Auditorium and Cafeteria on April 28. Donations at the door.
