The New York State Department of Transportation will continue to replace two concrete box culverts on State Route 28 between upper Main Street and Grove Street in the village of Cooperstown through December 1st.

A temporary traffic signal is in place to control alternating single lane traffic. Motorists will also encounter flag personnel. There is a posted lane width restriction of 10 feet throughout the construction work zone. Work will be performed daily between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to be alert for slow moving traffic, sudden stops, as well as pedestrians and bicyclists.
