Roxette, the pop-rock duo from Sweden, scored their second number on single on the U.S. charts on this day, November 4, in 1989.  "Listen To Your Heart" stayed at the top spot for one week.

Today in music history, we go back to 1988 when Phil Collins climbed to number one on the U.S. singles chart with 'Groovy Kind Of Love'.  The hit would stay there for two weeks. It was Collins sixth U.S. number one single.

Four bands have been chosen from your video submissions for a chance to open for the Sick Puppies on November 8, 2013 at the Oneonta Theatre.  Voting will take place on our Facebook page.  "Like" the band that you want to be the opening act.  Voting will close November 1, 2013 at 8am.  Winner will be announced on air and on Facebook.

The pop-rock band from Toronto celebrated 'One Week" for one week.  On this day, October 17, 1998 the Barenaked Ladies climbed to number on the US singles chart with their single 'One Week'.  Ironically, it only stayed at number one for one week.  The hit spent sixteen weeks in the Top 40.
