Capital Region sports fans may be more familiar with Coach Paulus' college basketball playing career. Paulus was a four year player for the Duke Blue Devils. After completing his basketball career, Paulus returned to his home town of Syracuse to play one year of college football with the Syracuse Orange. Coach Paulus' head coaching career started last week when he was named the interim coach for Niagara following the dismissal of Patrick Beilein.
