During the summer months, Oneontans enjoy much lighter traffic in the city, despite baseball campers and tourists.  It's certainly a nice change of pace if you ask this native.

That has all come to end as college students have started arriving in Oneonta.  You can already see the telltale signs of vehicles filled to the brim with dorm room contents, mattresses being hauled on top of cars, and drivers either driving slowly or in the wrong lanes who clearly don't know where they're going.  Just take a deep breath and try to be patient.  You'll get used to it soon enough and just remember that you could be dealing with Albany or Binghamton traffic which is way worse!
