Saturday night, Bonnie Raitt was taking the outdoor stage at one of the area's most beautiful concert venues: Brewery Ommegang outside of Cooperstown.  I rarely go to concerts any more since it's not exactly the cheapest form of entertainment, but as a long time Bonnie Raitt fan, I was motivated to go, especially since she was coming so close to home.

When Bonnie first starting talking and her voice sounded so raspy I wondered how her singing would sound.  Well, no worries there.  She sang for an hour and a half and sounded just as amazing as she ever did, at the age of 65!

I also thought Ommegang did a nice job as a venue with plenty of food offered and beverages to enjoy.  Plus, the gentle slope in front of the stage that leads all the way up to their hop crop was perfect for viewing the show. To top the night off, a great fireworks display went off at close of show.  Beautiful!  It was a great time and I recommend seeing a show there.
