Biggest Form of Flattery – More Cowbell! [Video]

My daughter, made me feel like queen of the world! She came to me this week and said, “Mom, can I tell you something?” Well, of course I answered yes. I could tell by her tone that this would be serious. I sat down by her, to give her my full attention and then she said, “Mom, I want to start band. Can I have a band?” Sweet! First I felt relief that, that was the only thing concerning her. Second, she wants to be like mommy! She and my son have both been at the Lazy T practices for the John Michael Montgomery show. They have both expressed such an interest in playing guitar and drums and singing.
Now she has given this some thought. She has recruited her elementary school friends to be in the band. She started listing who was playing what instruments and then she announced the crucial one…the cowbell! Which got me thinking, “I got a fever and the only thing that can cure it is more cowbell!”
