Here's a great opportunity for those suffering from any chronic disease: Bassett Healthcare is offering a free six week Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshop on Wednesdays (Sept. 14 - Oct 19) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Little Red School Community Building, 516 County Highway 11, Oneonta (in the town of Laurens).

Put Life Back in Your Life!  This free Living Healthy workshop is for adults and/or their caregivers, dealing with chronic conditions.  This workshop is presented by the Rural Health Education Network of Schoharie, Otsego and Montgomery counties (RHENSOM) and sponsored by the Bassett Center for Rural Community Health.  Participants will learn self-management tools regarding dealing with chronic conditions. Participants must be 18 years or older and registration is required.
