A local tourism group was honored with an award from the Albany Ad Club for successfully promoting the Catskills.

The annual ADDY Awards was held on March 11th at the VanPatten Country Club in Clifton Park, where The Catskills Association for Tourism Services received both Gold and Silver awards. According to media releases, the ADDYs are the first level in the three-tier. This national ADDYs competition is conducted once a year by the American Advertising Federation.

CATS won a gold ADDY Award for its 2015 Cross Platform Integrated Campaigns. This campaign included branding and personal development, creativity, website development, and online advertising. CATS is in a partnership with Adworkshop, which is a marketing agency that oversees their strategy and execution of marketing programs and collateral.

CATS took home the Silver ADDY Award as well for its new website, www.VisittheCatskills.com, which incorporates the branding work that was developed with Adworkshop teams in Lake Placid and Albany area.
